TCnBham,
Thanks for the compliments.  I can't wait to get home tonight and move the tour pack back. I was really disapointed last night when my wife said it was uncomfortable.  She was like a kid at Christmas and couldn't wait to go for her first ride. She really didn't want to complain but I could tell she was unhappy.  After dragging it out of her she said it was way to tight back there.
Oh, and thanks for the tip on additional goodies we'll get started on that right away.

Got to make the woman happy, or everybody is unhappy  ::)  I hope the tourpak is not already back...they're really supposed to do that when they set them up at the dealer, but sometimes they mess up.  Can you imagine that? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  If not, and you move it back, I think she'll be a happy camper.  Get that baby in the wind, and the 500 mile break-in over with...she's a beauty.

Read all the great information on this site for the Twin Cam and the CUSE...you'll have no shortage of things on your list that you didn't know you couldn't live without.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

TCnBham...That did it  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] The tour pack was in the forward position from the dealer. I moved it back and that did the trick. Put the rider backrest back on and the bride has plenty of room. Thanks to all who helped with suggestions.  This site is the greatest  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Rjob749. I double checked when I got home this evening. The V between the speedo and tach is a chrome piece. Strictly decorative. It does add a nice touch between the leather and the speedo/tach.

I'm near Cleveland, Ohio. Yes, I moved her foot rests all over the place but that didn't help. I completely forgot about moving the tour pack. I just want to make sure befor I move it I don't screw up some wiring or something. As you know the '07 has the electric lock. I will post pics shortly.  I gotta tell you though it's hard to do the color justice in photos.

Wheels, thanks for the good quality photos of your beautiful red/black. Now I really can't wait until my red/black arrives. My ship date was set for 08/01/06. But it still hasn't been shipped as of today. Do you know what your original ship date was? Also, how do you like the navigation system?

Thanks Ace.

Wheels<

Awesome looking ride. Thats the first red/black I know of on the street in the whole country. I know that they are starting to show up this week most everywhere. Thanks for all the pics.

My gal was saying she felt a little tight in there too. She is 5' 9" and about 130 lbs. The bigger issue she had was the heat off the rear cylinder. It did not help that we were in 99 degree heat in Florida and she was wearing shorts and sneakers. She really dug the intercom system though. Those full face helmets are a bitch when its that hot but I will put up with them every single day no matter what.

I have seen scrambled grey matter both on the street and worse when it stays in somebodys skull. Makes for a very chitty life for the injured and everyone who loves them. (sorry, went off on my helmet rant there for a minute.)

I did the 1000 mile service on my ride 07 B/O cuse today. These bikes are incredible.

Good luck and please let us know if you decide to modify the motor at all. We would all love to see some baseline numbers and mod numbers on a dyno. I am just enjoying mine as an old farts bike for right now.

Keep the shiny side up.

ace4059.
My original ship date is a little foggy. Salesperson told me August 8th ship date. Then later the sales manager told me a ship date of July 24th. Then the sales manager told me it would be delayed until end of August. Next thing you know I get a call on Friday August 11th and he says do you wanna pick up your bike tomorrow. So heck ya I picked it up Saturday August 12th. Sorry I haven't even turn on the nav system yet.  My wife and I really want to make the trip to Maggie Valley. But, I don't think I'll be able to get the bike broken in and the 1,00 mile service done in time. Darn work gets in the way.

Wheels,
As for getting out of work you look like you have "new scooter flu" to me, and the prescription for that is some time in the wind. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

MV isn't until Oct, and if you follow my prescription certainly you can get 1000 miles on the scooter by then. ;)
