I was just thinking today when I met some more members from the site that maybe when I hang up my FF gear I would become a "Chrome Consultant" for a dealer. I did get a potential sale of a Chrome Inner Primary today to a spouse for her husband’s scooter. ;D Since those pipes were chrome I guess that is why/how I was so quick to find out what brand they are. You betcha Fired00d, you'd make one of the best "Chrome Consultant" for a dealer that I have ever seen, and I thought I had met the best.  After seeing your bike in person, I want to park a mile from your bike - always.  Not only is yours a whole lot cleaner than mine, you have every chrome part the MoCo sells.  Your bike looks fantastic.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thanks; I've been told I'm a little anal when it comes to cleanliness of my vehicles. [smiley=nervous.gif] Believe it or not I've still got a few more chrome pieces I'd like to add. :o I think to be a good salesman you have to know the product and even better if you can show the product in use makes for an easy sale. Looking at pictures of parts, or seeing them hanging on wall at dealer are all right for some, but to be able to see them on a scooter to me is a lot better. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Sweet ride tuned.  dude I agree product knowledge is the key to salesmanship.  I am doing everything I can to get to know all of the chrome for my bike so I can have a career to fall back on if I should need it in the future.  ;D

Why would it be so odd that Fireman would have a really clean bike?  They study fire equipment cleaning at the fire hall while they wait for a call  [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

Have you ever seen a Dirty Fire truck? I know I haven't he needs to share his cleaning secrects  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

This is very true; you will be hard pressed to find a dirty fire truck. We don't study it; we just do it (daily).

My only secret is when I wash it I detail it. That means putting it up on the jack, taking saddlebags off (and sometime side panels). Products I use are S100, Bike Brite, H-D (Bug Remover and Wheel Cleaner), Car Wash w/wax in it (sorry forgot the brand). When I ride it I always wipe bugs off before I put it up, by doing this I don't have to wash it as often. I usually wash (detail) it couple times a month, more if I get caught in the rain. Trick is keeping it clean makes it easier to clean.

I have been promoted to "King Of Chrome" so now I'm just supervising/instructing. In other words I'm going to be sitting back in a lawn chair [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] pointing to where you missed a spot. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I'll keep my eyes open, but I've never seen one of those. You can go for the entire chrome starter - Harley-Davidson® Genuine High Performance 1.4kw Starter

Chrome starter the only way to do the OCD justice.  I sold my stock one to a member for a few bucks to offset a bit of the new one and get a downpayment on 103Thunder's SE Pro Performance mufflers.
