Is the standard warranty on new bikes 12 mths ? If so can you extend the warranty with the dealer ? My Krypto is just over 12 mths old & considering I've had issues with the cam lifters already was wondering if it is worth me extending the warranty, if so do they charge a standard amount or is it down to individual dealers. The standard is 24 months and unlimited mileage. Can't give you accurate info on the extended warranty but you will hear real soon from another member.

mandatory warranty by EC law is 2 years from date of delivery to customer. Extended warranty besides the name "warranty" is something entirely different, it's a insurance you can by via your dealer before the legal warranty ends. Ask your dealer for the exact terms in your country. Read more about it here.
