2007 FXSTSSE Upgraded and much improved
« on: April 21, 2012, 03:59:08 PM »

So i added a high flow air cleaner last year and had a professional tune done.  Because I was running with a Big Radius exhaust with quiet baffles my numbers were dissappointing.  70.10 HP and 95.58 TQ

This year I switched to a Fatcat exhaust, Redshift 575 Cams, and upgraded to a scorpion clutch.  After a retune.....

I went from 70.10hp to 101.18hp :o
and from     95.58tq to 112.18tq :o

I also changed to Metzeler ME880's front and back, replaced my stock battery, and had all of the fluids changed out (I do the fluids every spring).

I can't wait to pick the bike up and take it for a Ride.  All work done by JD's cycleworks in Bethlehem, PA.  Great place to go for work.  Really nice guys.

Make sure to post your Dyno sheet.  That is a pretty impressive jump.  I am still trying pick out cams and head work.  Congrats.

Here is a pdf attached with the new dyno results.  The ride home was great.  It wasn't just like a new bike... it was like a completely different bike.  Very nice sound and vastly better power.  It wasn't louder by any means... but the sound was deeper and less tinny.  I think I'm set for a while.
