I really like the leather saddle bags covers, I was thinking about doing that to mine but I have a couple of questions.
Does dirt get between the bottom of the cover and the top of the lid and scratch the paint?  And when you wash your bike do you take the covers off as it looks to be a pain to take off?  BUT no matter what the pain STILL LOOKS AWSOME!!!

Bubba,
The lid covers are leatheroid (made by HD 57805-03), have fleece backing.  Attach under lid with velcro are a piece of cake to take off and on. I did "punch" holes to mount the chrome saddlebag trim piece through. As a result don't remove everytime, just when major detailing. And in answer to your question no scratching yet!  ( have friends with "regular" UC who have their lids on saddlebags dinged and scratched from riders feet!!!! That is why I put on the covers in first place). Hope this helps, anything else let me know  John

I would also like to know about the doors from 3Glide, knowing they are a bit suspect as a vendor.

Also I like the chrome mid frame covers, they look great in the pics.

How about the running board guards, do those get in the way at all?

Great looking ride [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

with all due respect to cuthbertss problems with vendor, I had ordered these prior to seeing his thread.  I only got the locking door for right side ( CD holder on other side). Easy to install. Sent key (had keyed to my ignition), and took 3 weeks. The right door does not contact the tank as some have speculated. It does touch the air cleaner cover when fully open. I like the CD holder on other side, because I suspect the left side door would contact the tank ( also has velcro flap and easily access CD and cell phone with out key system!).  As to question about heal guard. I have kuryakyn footboard extenders, but heal guard system sits very close to inside edge of floorboard. Does not intefere with foot placement but sometimes gives feel that not alot of wiggle room, but best part is not have burnt heals or exhaust shield marks!  Hope that helps,  John
