2012 SE Ultra Dyno run
« on: April 25, 2012, 03:52:09 PM »

Does this look pretty good/normal for a stock 110?

Thanks

Not sure if I'll get this right or not but instead of DIN, the most accurate readings will say SAE. That does seem a bit optomistic for a stock 110 though. I wish mine was running numbers like that but it's stock except running a canned SEPRT tune with a big sucker a/c and Rinehart true duals. I really wanna see abolute numbers instead of guessing.

Guess I should have read the entire graph but I didn't see the minor mods you had on there. Looks pretty good and probably closer to actual than I thought when I posted my original remark. Hoping the Fullsac C model X-pipe and a retune will put me close to the same.

Those are strong 110 results and a nice wot dyno curve. Do you have the AFR that go with the graph? Is this the stock cam?

That's a first for me, a Texas dealer using DIN to inflate their numbers.  I didn't know Texas was now part of Europe. :nixweiss:

The curves look good, and really that's all you should use that chart for anyway.  The absolute numbers aren't what's truly important, even if they were in SAE like they should be.  You might want to ask those folks why they used a European correction factor, just so they'll know that you know.

While the curve is certainly important as well as the AFR graph, the absolute #s in either STD, SAE or Actual will also be important. If they were for example showing 80hp and 95ft lbs, then the tune is definitely off for a 110 with a fatcat and Ventilator. If your 110" showed 115hp and 120 ft lbs with just a fatcat and Ventilator I would also say there was a problem with the tuning and the tuner was likely trying to pull something over your head.

I agree.  The point I was trying to make was that peak numbers aren't the only important part of the process; the actual shape and area under the curves mean more to the typical street rider.  Definitely the peak numbers should fall into the normal range for the bike and mods, but considering all the variability between dyno's and dyno operator's, I wouldn't get all excited or depressed over a single number from a single dyno.

Thank you for the replies everyone. I will give them a call in the morning and see about getting one in SAE.

Seat of the pants feels awesome and I suppose that's all that really matters.  I would like to know actual peak numbers for the sake of knowing.

If you ask them for a copy of the run file, DynoJet offers a free viewer that will allow you to print it out in whatever correction you like. While none of the corrections used are real, it makes some people feel good anyways. As long as your happy and you enjoy the bike that's all that counts.

Take a look at the graph I just posted on my '11 FLTRUSE. I'd say your curves are close. The numbers seem higher than SAE, which are about 85 HP and 100 TQ. More important, you TQ curve follows mine pretty close.

Now that's a very nice curve with excellent performance #s for just an exhaust and air intake swap on a 110".

Cropsure,
Saw in your original post that you removed your name.   Here is your pdf without your name on the dynosheet if you want to replace the one you have posted.  Just download it, modify the post you have with it removing the doc and saving the post then modify it again and upload this one.

or let me know and I will remove this post and the file.

Thanks, Unbalanced.  It's no big deal if my name is on there.  And thanks to everyone letting me know about DIN vs. SAE.  I would not have known the difference otherwise.
