I have been dressing up the motor with "chrome" and started with the cover for the starter and bolt covers from HD. Lets see some more you guys have done.

If you can stand reading thru 29 pages of OCD (Obsessive Chrome Disorder) therapy, you'll see I like chrome as well (gold too).

fireguy, in case you haven't done it on page 536 of the 2012 genuine motor parts and accessories catalogue they sell as set of chrome timer cover screws for $11.95 part no. 32690-99A and also for the derby cover part no. 25913-99 for $13.95. I put those on as well as chrome switch housing hardware  part no. 91124-03A $17.95.  It is not a lot of money, and it looks good. Just  make sure you have your torx socket all the way into the original bolts before you make that first twist. Sometimes they are pretty tight and actually make a snapping sound when they break lose. I also buy chrome bolts from my local True Value store they have a great selection and are usually cheaper then the HD version. Nice job on the bolt head covers. Are they Hot toppers or the HD version?. Just curious. I have the Hot Toppers on my 09 and also on my 95 Heritage. Also I swapped out my rear passenger footboard bolts for chrome. I got them from a company in Arizona called Standard Chrome Supply  phone no 888-629-2476. They also sell the washers etc. I believe the bolts are size 1/2-20 X 1 1/4 part no. 50F125KBCPR. This was back in Jan of 09 so part numbers could have changed, but the customer service was great and they seem to have a lot of stuff that True Value doesn't have.  KEEP ON CHROMIN! CAHDBIKER

The "toppers" are Harley's. I like the fact that they pop on with a built in clip that attaches the the bolt. They are a bit more $ but I would buy a few at a time when I go to the dealer. I need the timing cover screws from your list. Thank you.

Chrome cover for the starter? Did you customize the cover? The only thing I have seen is the chrome starter
