Added high compression pistons SE255 CAMS, VH X pipe exhaust with VH High Output slip on's custom tune and we put out 121 TQ and 112 HP. Wasn't a big cost.

SE255 is the stock cam.  Did you mean SE259E perhaps?

Not enough power?  Stock CVO engine is fine with me.  I can already leave any cage in the dust at stoplights and acc from zero to 80 pretty damn fast to get on the interstate.  My last bike was a 103 upgrade and the cuse6 I have now is a real pleasure to ride.

I know, I know, money burnin' a hole in your pocket eh?  The stock exhaust now that should be changed for sure.  Exhaust, seat, tuner, tp reloc kit, chrome wheels, motolights, chrome starter, chrome calipers, chrome inner primary, plenty to spend on without upgrading the motor.  Now if you are planning on running from the law, get a Hayabusa, they are crazy fast.

Whatever you do, don't tell the wife what you are spending, lol.  (unless you spend the same on her)

Muzz, on my 09SEUC all I did was the Fulsac stage one map, got a catless heatpipe from one of the guys on the site, open air cleaner, and the fulsac 1.75 baffles, which don't get annoying after 3500 miles. At idle they are just a notch above stock, but when you crank it they have a great mellow sound.(leave the packing in if you go that route) My upgrades to the 09 kicked it up a notch and I am very happy with it. It pulls very hard loaded with passenger and I still get good mileage. I mostly ride it on long trips since I have a 95 Heritage with S&S 107 to rip around town in.   I have thought about going with the andrews 54 cams and stage two map, but for the money it doesn't seem like that much more torque and HP per dollar.  Just my opinion after looking at countless dyno maps on the site, and the way my bike performs with the stage one set up. Good luck with whatever you do. Just remember that bottom end grunt is important because these bikes are very heavy, and the 255 cams are great for that. If you move your torque curve too far to the right you will be downshifting alot more to get the power you need at certain times. I guess it depends on how you like to ride. Good luck. CAHDBIKER

you haven't told us mileage, previous mods (if any) and your riding style or budget you want to spend.  You should start with the basics and address some problems areas first

- Exhaust (mufflers and head pipe).  this will help reduce the heat and improve performance with proper tuner
- Tuner (Power Commander, etc) and good tune.  Find a local tuner and use the module he likes to use
- Cam (lots of choices), lifters (problem area - read up on failures and damage it can do), cam bearings (another common weak point)

This will definitely greatly improve performance and reliability.  Also, when the cam plate is out, have you crank runout checked.  Another common problem and opportunity to verify if you have a pending issue

If you want to further and even more power than what is mentioned above, next step would be heads and increase compression ratio (if you go here you choice of cam may be different than stock compression suggested above)
