No cat on the bike.

If the tech that works on my bike determines that it is the battery, I'd change it in a "N Y Minute."

I don't see what scooter you have but as far back as 06 there have been CAT's on the CVO bikes. My 06 UltraSE had CATS in the mufflers and my current 09 has a CAT in the header pipe.

His bike did have a catalyst originally.  What he is saying is that it no longer has one.

Bike went into a H-D Service Dept. this a.m.

Prior to this I cleaned battery posts and all connections and coated same with di-electric grease.

Shop put computer on bike, Service mgr. said codes were probably caused by sudden change(s) in voltage. Codes cleared and bike is now 100%.

Took them less than an hour and there was no charge($$). This would not have happened at my local dealer.

Am a happy camper once again.

After reading, still don't know what bike you have and it is not important.  What is important is to understand your warranty and grow a set.  You gave HD your money now give them a pain in the a$$.  Your local service manager has a boss and the owner has a boss.  Come on…..  BTW did you bother to do any search on this forum before posting?  Forgive my attitude, I am just to tired to care tonight.

Correction: Shop did charge $35 for the labor.

Bike is a 2010 SESG.

Happy with the outcome.

Would not waste my time trying to get sympathy out of the Moco.   Ext. warranty also has a $50 deductible.

And no, I did not research site for any similar problem.

The replies I received were appreciated and helpfull.
