I am really in a sweat. I would like to change the bars on my 2011SESG and bring them closer to me. I don't want to add mirrors or change the look of the cycle.  I have spoke to the manufacturer who says I won't need to add the mirrors. My stealer says he may have to add mirrors and that if the new bars do interfere with the fairing mirrors he is required to ,because of a safety issue.

Has anyone installed these bars? If so what issues have you had if any?

That's DealerSpeak... I have the 575s, as many others here do, and I am running with my stock, fairing-mounted mirrors. They aren't in the way at all.

Not sure if I asked ou before Ken,,  did you have to extend anything to make those bars work?   Clutch line , brake line?  Or the wiring thru the bars?   I'm glad the bars don't get in the way of the mirrors.   I thought they would have.   Thanks.   Stuart

I have 575s on my 11 Krypto.  Didnt have to change anything, install was actually pretty easy.  I didnt have to change the stock mirrors, you have to be more deliberate when lookin in the mirrors because your hands and elbows do block some of the field of vision.  I have the HD mirrors with the small fish eye mirror in the corner and have no problems.

I needed to order a +3" clutch line. In reality I could have gotten away with +2"...... You will get different answers on this one...it seems the MoCo quality control on the length of the lines appears to be lacking.....some people use the exisiting and some need longer......The brake line seems to work, but the clutch line varies.
