fuel warning light always illuminated. HELP!!!
« on: May 05, 2012, 11:47:38 AM »

I've always been a sports bike fan but on a not so recent trip to Hawaii I fell in love with HD as I hired a beautiful machine and rode it for 7 hours without feeling like I needed to be a fool on it to enjoy it. So, when I returned to oz I sold my BMW S1000RR superbike and imported 2 x 2007 CVO springers to Australia. I've since sold one to recover some expenses but have found that the one I kept has the fuel warning light come up on the display regardless of the fuel quantity in the tank. Also, the one I sold displayed the fuel quantity in Blue L.E.D's but this one displays it in red. Can anyone help me with this? thanks

Not an expert by any means but the pump icon stays lit. I had an older model that this led went bad. It was blue on that one. I think you have a newer model (amber) and it is working correctly.

Mine went bad also. Make sure screws around gauge are tight water will get in and screw all up. Replaced mine works fine just cost
$130.00.
