My first ride this year!

For those that don't know, I had a really bad MC wreck last year in June. I was sitting in stopped traffic on the interstate when I was rear ended by a car. He never hit his brakes and it threw me 20 ft in the air. I fractured my back in 3 places and ended up with a Hugh hematoma on the outside of my right thigh. I have gone through numerous surgeries, the last one was Feb 23rd. They almost had to remove my leg. God smiled on me and gave me a successful surgery and lots of hope. I wasn't sure though if I would ever get to ride again....well,  today was my first attempt at swinging my leg over the seat and making my maiden voyage. We didn't go far, 83 miles but as you can tell from my smile it was 83 GREAT miles.  I want to thank everyone on this forum that have followed my recovery and have encouraged me to never lose hope. Thank you JC for all your encouraging road trip photos, they always helped me keep the faith.
