I remember the feeling, after my accident and being unable to even walk for a year, of finally getting back on my bike (with crutches strapped to the bars)...nothing like it. 

It's happy on steroids.

Ok everyone!  My motorcycle is ready to go for my first trip coming up Saturday to Missouri/Arkansas.  I've got my new bars on, my XM radio installed, my 1K service done, my luggage rack on and all I have left to do is start packing.  :pepper: :apple: :pepper:  Our first day will be the longest stretch....we go 345 miles from Toledo, Oh to Louisville Kentucky where we stay the night and meet up with our riding friend from Ashville, NC.  The next day we head west.  :2vrolijk_21:  I will post pictures as we go and keep everyone up to date on how the MC and (me) are holding up.

Mike, don't be surprised if all the picture's of my bike are blurred...cause you know it is so fast that it's hard to get a good picture.   :P

Greg, getting to Louisville the first day but trust me, not going through Cincinnati  ;). Today is my one year mc wreck anniversary.  I was laying face down on I-75 at 2 pm June 18, 2011, so pause today and say a prayer that I lived to talk about my experience.

So glad that you're in the saddle again after all the rehab-ing.  I can identify as it's just over one year since my tangle with a cage.  Hope you have a great trip beginning this weekend and look forward to your pics & tales.  And hope to see you in Maggie Valley.  spyder
