I've done it on Buster's Tour Pak... it was a PITA. I ended up making up my own completely custom 5-wire harness - tapping into the brake/light/run wires in the 3-pin connector under the left side cover, and the 2 turn signal wires in the harness on the rear fender, then going up into a little hole I drilled in the center of the Tour Pak at the bottom. This way, you can't really even see the wire bundle going up into the TP. I also used a 6-pin Deutsch connector at the rear of the seat to make the TP quike disconnect.
NorthGeorgiaHawg: I am in the same boat without the knowledge and problem solving experience you seem to have.
I bought the wire harness from the HD CVO tourpak for the 2011 CUSE6 in addition to the run/turn/brake harness that comes with the HD LED tail light kit. The problem I am finding is that the 2011 SESG connectors that come off the main harness to the existing SESG tail lamps are 8 pin Molex variety and have six wires from the main harness going into what I call the male molex and out from the female molex where there is a three way split with 4 wires each going to each LED run/turn/brake lamp and then two wires going to the license plate light. I even saw the numbering system 1 thru 4 and 5 thru 8 on the back of each side of the molex plugs.
What I need is a Y molex adapter that has the same configuration at the base and left arm of the Y to connect to the tour pak harness and module, which has a different number of wires running from its' female molex connector into the harness inside the tour pak.
Hopefully you or anyone else reading this post may be able to assist, especially with pictures.
Thanks
What I don't know and could use help on is how the right arm should be configured?
