LED Tour pak light kit 67931-11 -- whers the plug?
« on: May 17, 2012, 08:16:40 PM »

I urchased this LED light kit and installed it on my tour pak without any trouble but decided today to install the tour pak on my 2012 Hot Citrus SG CVO. i soon realize I cannot find the plug or wiring harness that I need to take apart and install the Y connector.

I see the wiring harness for the tail light which is clearly marked but the connector is completely different and the Y connector that came with the LED kit.

Can you please tell me if there is another Y connector or I am looking at the wrong wiring harness or is this kit only for Ultra's?

any help would be great

Thanks,

Barry

Is that the 4 pin Deusch Connector?

If so its under the riders seat.

Disregard..

I found instructions on line in .pdf

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=67931-11%20instructions&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CGUQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harley-davidson.com%2Fen_US%2FMedia%2Fdownloads%2FService%2Fisheets%2F-J05090.pdf&ei=Oam1T-v1B4eTiAKC99iGBw&usg=AFQjCNF-11N0DH2pHHDN5u4m7Wg7oG9l7w

The Y connector seems to be the one at the rear fender to frame intersection.

Went through the same drill when I installed mine Barry--Bottom Line + it's only for the Ultras (actually even says it on the Install Sheet but I had to read it multiple times to figure out exactly what HD meant...) so you'll have an extra bit of kit left over...Good luck Brother!  Cheers, Moose

Give them a call and they can make you a T with the correct Molex connectors. And you can get their module that gives you run/turn/brake in the corner lights.

I made my own molex Y harness.  Was a PITA, but everything is working.  It took some trial and error, with a couple wires switched in the plugs inside the tourpac to get the turn signals working on the tourpac.

Sorry Newfie--I was traveling/dropped off the Net for most weekend but looks like you got the answer.  Apologize for leaving you hanging... :(  Cheers, Moose
