Just bought a used 2011 SESG. It comes with an IPOD Nano with HD emblem on it. The directions for use and trouble shooting are somewhat limited and I was wondering if those of you have a 2011 SESG recieved any more specific instructions for the IPOD, beyond what is listed in the FLHXSE2 owners manual. If there is additional information on operation of this accessory, I would much appreciate you telling me where that information can be found. Thanks

Short answer is "nope."  I believe Apple assumes everyone knows how to use an ipod.  Its been a while since I did this, but once you hook the ipod up to a computer, it should load up itunes for you, which I believe has a "help" section which might give you more information.  If you have any specific questions you can always ask them here.

Mine came in a cute little plastic box with the instructions from apple in it . ear phones as well.

This is my first Apple product as well prefer my other mp3 player but since the nano came with the bike I've been learning as I go.

The instructions that come with the Nano is very minimal so I thought I would be smart and print out the instructions from the Apple web site. Surprise, it was 104 pages, that's 52 pages printed double sided,  and that was just the English version. It's unbelievable what these things can do.

Hogdooz, I know what you mean. I printed out the 104 pages and skimmed thru it last night. It amazes me how much functionality is put into such a small package, but it is also overwhelming and unlikely I'll ever use or remember how to use most if not all of the features. My wife calls it a plot of the geeks to distract everyone into spending all their time messing with computers, cell phones, Ipods, Ipads, texting, twittering etc, instead of paying attention to family and what's happening around us.
