Extended SaddleBag Liners
« on: May 25, 2012, 01:42:21 PM »

Does anyone know of anyone who is making a saddlebag liner for the extended bags with amp and speakers. I had Harley's liners on my last bike and they worked well, but they certainly will not work on the FLHXSE3 Bags.

What's the matter with the stock CVO bag liners?

They do not fit well with the amp in the left bag and the speakers. I think that the right one would work ok

Unfortunately they don't seem "customized" in order to fit the custom extended bags but rather have space below & to the rear as well...I'm sure someone will start to make a set specifically for the SE3 soon so we can spend some more money...   :nixweiss:

I saw somebody was making a diamond pattern tufted liner in a couple of colors but all it said was that they fit the extended bags, it did not say anything about the speakers and amp. Anyone have any ideas for a fitted liner?

They come with the standard bag liners, which don't work well with the amp and drop bags

The CVO comes with removable bag liners not the fitted grey liners like you have in the tour pak. The fitted liner is not a zippered black bag which is what comes with the bike. They are a Harley option for standard saddlebags just trying to find something similar that will fit the extended bags with speakers.

Try an automotive upholstery shop, they do wonders with street rods.

Bump.
Any body come across saddle bag liners for the SE3 other than the useless removable ones that come with the bike.

I am looking for liners that will fit utilizing all the space alowing for the amp in the left saddle bag.

I kept the bags from my '08...they are softer and fit around the '12's amps better and do not tear off the wire stickies. Even though they don't go all the way to the bottom, I things like tools on the very bottom of the bags.
