Finally My Baby Gett'en Beefed Up
« on: July 31, 2006, 11:40:00 PM »

As many of you know I have been looking for slight upgrades for my bike for some time now.  Thanks to all of your input my bike is finally going to benifit from all of your wisdom.  Tomarrow the upgrade begins  [smiley=banana.gif]- My baby is getting V&H Dual exhaust, SERT, and Zippers Redshift 575 cams.   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] .   From what I have heard I should be all smiles  ;D ;D ;D when the job is complete.  Thanks for all of your help and I'll give yall a ride report just as soon as I get her back.

Got my bike back today.  I am very pleased.  ;D ;D ;D ;D WHAT A RIDE!!! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif].  I missed the sporty fealing I had with my wideglide.  Now I have it all, the comfort of the Electraglide with the sporty get up and go!  I thank you all for all of the wonderful advise and support and look forward to picking your brains for future improvements to the bike.  I'll get pics of the bike up soon.  Next up is lights I purchased from HD-dude.  Already have them ready to go will probably start tomarrow.  Now when I finally meet and ride with yall I won't fall too far behind.  YAHOOOOOO!  Thanks again

Firedood you mean you hit 3000 rpms now ??? you must be feeling froggy lately... hehe

Gary,
Congrats on the upgrades and glad it puts a smile on your face.  If the wife rides with you, its best to invest in a kidney belt cause she is surely gonna be popping you for gunning it, cause its to much fun not to.

Let me know how you like the lights after you get them installed.

Will do---Finished half the lights tonight, will finish the other half tomarrow after work.  I hope to finish in time to do alittle night crusing downtown. (ya know show off the new additions).  Teresa very rarely rides with me any more, she has her own bike and she likes it like that.  She has been quite please with her bike as well since she put the 16G exhaust, SERT and the new lights from HD-Dude.  There are pics of her lights in the PICTURES area if you havent seen them yet.  She has her work cut out for her tomarrow though.  She bought a bunch of HOT TOPPERS for her bike.  I'll be working on my lights so she will have to put them on herself if she wants them on before the weekend and you know what that means (sore thumbs ;D).  I'll post some pics after im all done with the lights I can tell already they are going to look great.  The funny thing is I keep thinking I am close to finishing my bike and I am afraid I am going to go into Post Chrome Depression but to my great supprise I keep finding new and exciting things to add.  Have a great one and ride safe.

Looking good. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I like the way the seat looks on the bike, sleek, but a little more cushion for the passenger then my '04 seat (wifey might like that).
