Take em off for the summer.  It's like a whole new experience.  Much cooler and I can enjoy the wind and that heat isn't trapped between the lowers and the saddlebags.   I might not see them again until i go to sell it.

Funny... I don't really notice all that much heat coming off of Buster's engine...

But I grew up in Texas... and we all know that when the Devil was kicked out of Heaven, he was given both Hell and Texas... He decided to rent Texas out and live in Hell... it was cooler there!
