When I first arrived I thought I saw SBB’s bike here but then I remembered that he was to be in my backyard this weekend.

All in all the trip was prudy good…GOD smiled down upon us and blessed us with his vision behind me!  Instead of it costing me an arm and a leg I just had to give up the leg!  We left with some cash in our pockets!

Great 'ride' report Dick, I enjoyed it , as always.  :) Your excellent pic of the Rhododendron in bloom is called Mountain Laural throughout these mountains and grows all over this state, but suffers from the summer heat at lower elevations down East.  Must be in the 'shade' with plenty of water to survive our summer's in the flat lands.  Thanks for the wonderful post.  :2vrolijk_21: spyder

Very nice story (beyond a ride report) you have shared with us. Thank you. Could you come out sometime and tell me a bedtime story?

Nice pics.  We did that ride in 10.  If someone had not done the Smokey Mountain ride they are missing one of the best rides in the United States.

There is plenty of fresh water to fish, tube, swim, walk, and just have fun in!  One matter is certain, it’s cold.

Nice long exposure on this one Jock...
