Hello all, I just put a down payment (actually a holding payment) on a 2005 SEEG, teal colored, and I'm wondering if this deal is too good to be true or if I paid about right. Agreed price is $15,600 at a dealership. Just tuned and fully inspected and a new front tire. Just over 15,000 miles. One owner, a business owner that babied the bike. And of all the ones I've looked at this is the only one I've seen with the leather touring trunk. Condition is flawless as far as I can tell. No bad chrome or paint. They were asking $17,500 but I'm paying cash so they were willing to negotiate. So, did I pay average or did I do really good?

That bike came stock w/a color matched chopped (hard) tourpak.

Someone added that tour-pak.  They came with a color-matched chopped tour-pak in '05.  As far as the price, that sounds about average to me.  As a comparison, I know someone who just bought an 8,000 mile '06 SEUC for $16,500.

Congrats on your bike.  You did well but that did come with a color matched chopped TP.

Thanks for the info guys. The bike has a custom looking seat that matches the leather trunk. May very well have been "customized" by the previous owner. I can always add the tour pack trunk I suppose. I kinda like the leather one in a way. Pic to follow.

1) Stock chopped tour pack
2) Stock passenger back rest
3) Gold Key
4) CVO cover (but you should never use it)
5) Saddle bag and tour pack bags (luggage)
 I am sure I am forgetting something, but if it is a one owner bike those should be easy for them to get.

 Here is the top of the tour pack paint, sorry about my wife's fingers. As you can see the paint is a match to your bike, try and get it from the owner.

Apparently the stock tour pack is gone but I will ask for details on that and the cover and luggage. The driver backrest is included. Not sure what Gold Key is?

All CVO s come with a "gold key".  You don't use it.  YOu wear it around your neck to let everyone know you have a screaming eagle.    No. I'm teasin.  It does come with one,, plus 2 regular keys.   Also the matching chopped tour pack, cover, back rest for the rider and the passenger,   Saddle bag overnite bags.  That tour pack also had a light in it.  Which was really nice to have.  That TP was on quick release hardware and a stealth rack on the rear fender too.
