Wow,  what a great slide show.  Thank you so very much for sharing.  Glad you both made it home OK.  Bummer about the fender, but great ingenuity on getting a useable fender to speed the gettting back on the road.  I loved the story.  I was like you thinking about NY until this spring we got to take in some great country roads through that state on our way back from Canada.  It is gorgeous.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Then Mrs. Gilligan and I went down to Groton, CT and surrounding area where I was stationed on 4 submarines: USS Philadelphia, USS Tinosa, USS Greenling and the best one, USS Kamehameha.
