  LEO, picked me and better .5 up on way back home yesterday.  77 in a 55 zone  on US 40 Just enjoying the
day and he was rolling  knew soon as I seen him I was had.  He did a complete U in a 4 lane area of 40.
Pulled over to rt lane and waited for the pull behind and Lights.  So he did and I did.  Said sir that is really such a
nice bike but you were going 22 over speed limit.  Yes sir I know.  I had a cough and gave it a twist to clear
her throat.  He just smiled and walked back to his cruiser.  Me and wife just chated while we waited. I told her
this is the first ticket in many years.  So, I escaped many capable moments in those years. 

Well here he comes back to us and said (THAT IS SUCH A NICE BIKE YOU CAN AFFORD 125$) can you sign here and date please.  Said I sure can, wrong is wrong
and this day just adds to more memorable causes.  He was a very polite Officer and even let me taked a
picture that I said I would post with great enthusiasm......

Judy, when you do wrong you pay up.  I've learned when served lemons make lemonade it puts
things in right perspective.  LOL

Treat them with respect and it's not bad.
Like I asked the LEO about what he would do about the blue lights on the 12 SERG.
It depends on what you were doing and your attitude when I stop you was his response.

That is so True Chip.  But I also learned that there are some that no mater how you respond
you will still be a victim to there attitude.

I use to fight my tickets but not anymore. I prefer States like WI that actually take a credit card on the roadside. Just hand the trooper your license and creditcard and be on your way. Last time I picked one up in WI the trooper was not allowed to take cash,,,,,he looked very embarassed when I asked if the state did not trust him with cash

Too much temptation even for a sworn officer of the law.

We were also on 40 for a short bit on Monday (riding home from Athens where we went for lunch) I kept the cruise at 5 over max. Lots of them out there the other day. (knocking wood) I haven't been caught in 4 years. Somehow I don't think my luck will hold out much longer with this bike.
