Something missing from stock solo seat?
« on: May 30, 2012, 12:26:32 PM »

For the first time I took off the passenger pillion....and to my surprise the back of the solo seat looks unfinished and there are white plastic 'washers' showing.....looks like it was meant to be hidden from view! Am I missing a cover piece or something? I've looked through everything (short of opening the bagged cover up) and have found nothing.

The leather on the back of the solo seat pulls out and covers the attachment hardware...

I made the same mistake when I first got mine. Pull the leather flap over the hardware and the problem is solved.

It's much better...but, still see the big white plastic washers. Gonna find some thin black ones to cover the white ones with.

I have the mustang seat and the hardware is exposed.   I have the chrome fasteners but the white washers still showed. I trimmed the down and now you can't even see them.  The hold the the mounting bracket from falling under the bike.  That one was easy.  :)
