Steve... What is the difference between the B and C pipe? I looked on your web site there is no mention of it there.
My apologies for the outdated website, the new one is getting closer.
The B and C XPipes are very similar in design and performance. The B Pipe is stepped from 1.625 to 1.750. The C Pipe is all 1.75 primary's. One of the most critical areas
of any header is the size and angle of the collector. The B, C and new "Sportpipe" share identical collectors. Your splitting hairs between the B and C Xpipe at the 100 HP level.
The smaller 96 and 103 stage I builds in the low 80HP area will make earlier TQ with the B. Above 100HP the C Xpipe will start to show a slight advantage.
We have independent dyno charts with the B Pipe making 128 HP on a 120R and 125HP with 141TQ on a 124" build. These are the motors that would see a nice gain
switching to a C Pipe. If your running a B Pipe on the typical CVO 110 with cams making around 105 HP, your not going to feel the difference switching from a B to a C XPipe.
We are flattered that others have seen substantial gains with the C Pipe over the B. Our in house testing hasn't been quite as generous, or possibly our combination
of parts hasn't shown the gap in performance that others have experienced.
Thanks for your interest!
Steve George
