Windshield Tool Info?
« on: June 02, 2012, 02:38:09 PM »

Sorry about this question. What kind/and size are the OEM screws that hold the windshield trim on my 09SEUC. Torx?/Hex?/Allen? I don't seem to have the correct tool, may have to buy one but need to know correct item. Thanks

I think they are torks, like my SG. There should be a bit in the tool pouch that came with the bike.

Hmmm where did they hide the tool pouch on my bike if it came with one?

Should have been a rolled (canvas like material) in saddlebag. I just checked my parts manual and it is listed on the page with the saddlebag part numbers but not shown in the picture carrying a p/n of 94435-02.

The supplied tool pouches aren't really to do anything.  Those aren't real tools.  That's just a gee-whiz-isn't-that-cute kind of small throw with the bike purchase.

The driver and bit that came in my tool pouch worked great for changing the windshield......anything heavier would require real tools.

Yeah I figure if I need tools I will be better off pulling out my cell phone, it takes up less space.
