Not that anyone would break the law and actually go over the speed limit, , but has anyone reached top end on their SE Ultra??? And if so what is the true top speed of these babies.  One guy I met that had an '06 SE Ultra said his would go 140 but I find that hard to believe. ( Yes he had been drinking a few beers) Can't wait to get my '07 red/black to see what she will do. My1999 TC 88" RK will do 105-110 mph on a good day. It is stock other than Stage I w/remap and Kerker slip ons. My 2000 FB (Stage I w/ Vance and Hines pipes) tops out at 105.

Don't know that I'll ever know for sure....just a little concern over the high speed wobble that seems to be an issue (don't wanna get bucked off @ 120+!!!!)  Guess I'll leave that up to you.  Your NADS are much bigger than mine if you'll run 'er WFO!  They don't call you "Mr Big" for nuthin'!

Well ACE, I posted some Dyno numbers on my SEEG where we ran out the gears with 30% brake on the Dyno.

I've buried the speedo in 4th...which is about where it hits the limiter with the #36 map from the SERT......still 2 gears to go but kinda hard to tell just how fast your goin when the numbers have run out (and you really should be lookin ahead not at the frickin speedo).....if I'd ever thought about it I'd do it with the GPS loaded....but I never seem to remember at those times.  I don't think 130 or 140 is out of the question......I've run it at 115 or so uphill (WV Mountains) in 6th...2up and fully loaded.....and that was bone stock (well except the 6sp)....with throttle left over.....those guys on the RK's tryna catch me are probably still scratchin their heads.

That was the downhill part.  Actually the whole trip showed an average of about 60mph.  So it was a leisurely weekend on roads that mostly supported only that kind of riding.  There were just a couple of stretches to play on.....

And the good part about that is [highlight]you know it's accurate[/highlight]....unlike lookin at the speedo....lookin down at those speeds is overrated anyways.

Ummm...not always...This was the pic of my GPS upon return from Cripple Creek...while I wish I could brag and say I hit that speed 2-up...reality was 110 in the Wyoming Desert north of Cheyenne.
