What "new style" are you talking about?  If you have a 2010 CVO Ultra (it might help if you include that in your profile or in your posts), the current style TTS will work just fine.  The only new style I'm aware of is for the 2011 and later Softails.   :nixweiss:   Anyhow, I'm definitely not the resident expert on TTS.  That would be FULLSAC (Steve George), Steve Cole, etc.

HD may be converting everything to the CAN bus system in 2013, but we'll have to wait and see about that.  It would not be a surprise if they did.

There has recently been a bit of a backlog getting a TTS, from what I've read here, but I think that issue has been resolved, or is in the process of being resolved.

That's because they stopped producing the current model and are in the process of releasing a new TTS unit, there are hardware differences it's not just software. Steve told me via email the old units cannot be upgraded to the new so it's a waiting game if you want to wait for the newer version.

There's a lot of discussion on this over at HTT.

Why?  :nixweiss:  There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Pro Super Tuner.  It's just as good of a tuning device as the TTS.

In the first place why would it matter to you what bike I have? FYI I do have a 2010.5 SECU Black Mist.  I ask if the new TTS were shipping yet. They have features that the old style don't is WHY I want one.
The new one will support my application also.
The Pro Super Tuner is just great but I want the features of TTS. Do you have a clue if they are shipping yet??

Just trying to be helpful, since it often helps folks answer questions more accurately if they know what model a person is talking about.  But excuse me all to hell for asking, I'll try to mind my own business in the future.

I did not intend my reply to be taken that way. I am truly sorry if it came out like that. I just intended to say it did not matter what year bike it was.

Thank you for maning up and apologizing to Jerry.  I accept your apology but it's not mine to accept.  In the future maybe you need to read back what you wrote before you hit the send button.  But like I said, it takes a man to say your sorry and I think that's really cool.  :coolblue:

In fact, sometimes it matters a great deal to know for sure what bike you have. Perhaps not in this case, but often.

Just a suggestion:  If you go to your Profile settings, there is a place to put what year/model CVO (or other) bike you have.  Even in the same model year, there have been issues within production months that some of us may be very much aware of, and may offer up a suggestion on what to look for if having a problem.

Like E-Mail, forum posts, and the way they are worded, can convey the wrong meaning/intention because the people reading it cannot see your face, body language, etc.  We've all been guilty of it on occasion...even though sometimes we DO mean it exactly the way it's written   :huepfenlol2:
