 Notice my location!  That is Canadian(there's still a few people with money up here) MSRP...after the dust settled, about $1500 or so under, the first service included and took $2000 of parts off of my trade...is what I paid.
 
 Thought about a US bike...dealers won't sell a new one to a Canadian...so it would have to be used, I wanted NEW!...then, to get warranty the speedo needs to be changed to one with KPH *by a CDN dealer* and the rear fender needs to be changed to one with the pig nose *by a CDN dealer*, duty and import fees, dollar difference, travel, and not being in 'the good books' with my local dealer (I live on an Island with one dealer)......bought local, trade price/bottom line  all made buying from Drane the best choice IMHO.

Thanks for all the Congrats! I'm having a blast....almost 1000kms so far. Going for the regular Wednesday evening group dinner ride tonight....probably only 150km or so though. Gotta get at least 1600km on it before I leave...oh, the hardship I have to deal with.

On Tuesday Steve Drane (1 1/2 hrs south of me) picks up the bike from my garage, takes it to the shop, does first service, then installs S&S head pipe, V&H Monster Rounds, SERT, (also HD heated grips w/7 yr warranty!) and then dyno tunes it.

I work 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, so, whenever service is required, he'll have it picked up shortly after I leave for work.......and back in my garage in time for when I get home. He likes this arrangement too, because it builds in some flexibility into his shop schedule, to accommodate travelers in need of repairs, etc.
