Just wondering if any of our Georgia members have ate at The Vortex Bar and Grill? Word is they have great burgers. I trust our members opinions. Any thoughts, suggestions. Thanks

Yeah Great burger-n-beer place. Food is very good and people watching is a riot.
The Little Five Points location has a regular crowd and there is NOTHING regular about them.
We go for lunch about once a month.

Here's another   :2vrolijk_21:  for the Vortex. Great burgers. Get the tater tots with cheese, too. They also have a good beer selection.   :drink:  I didn't notice anything irregular about the crowd. Oh, wait. Maybe I'm irregular...

my doughter lived in HOTlanta for 6 years,wouldnt be a complete visit without a burger from the VORTEX!! :pepper:

Cool! Thanks guys that confirms other reports I had heard. Going to be at Killer Creek getting some new rubber Saturday morning, may ride on down to Vortex and put on a burger and beer clinic.

**Update** The Vortex is awesum! Already saved the address in the GPS to Favorites! Best burgers that we have had in a long time, very good adult beverages! :drink: Got a lot of laughs from watching the "freak parade"! It was worth dealing with the traffic and the crowd. Hostess said it would be a 30 min. wait but I don't think it took that long! Will go back ASAP!

I'm not sure if there are more than one, but when I visited a few years ago, it was on bike night. 

I'm pretty sure I'd spend a lot of time there if I were closer.  GREAT place!! :drink:

It's where d00d posted. There is another location in Midtown @ 878 Peachtree Street NE 30309. But I have not been to that one, have heard that parking is a little more of a problem at Peachtree location but have no hard facts about that.

If you go to the Midtown location and happen to drop your wallet, kick it up against a wall before you bend over to pick it up. There's a lot of batters swinging from the wrong side of the plate down there. Juss sayin'...

They specialize in "hot dogs" at the mid-town location  ;) :nervous: :huepfenlol2:

Both places are ok. Little five points is a better spot. bike night on Thursday, mostly sport bikes
