TTS and Throttle LAG fix?
« on: June 16, 2012, 08:22:52 PM »

I have a 2008 CVO RK 110 engine with DBW. I have the dreaded idle to WOT delay and looking to see what others have adjusted with the TTS to fix the delay when snapping the throttle from idle to WOT. Thanks... Rich

In neutral....but also when the throttle is at 0 percent and I blip it to WOT while driving...there is a delay.   Looking for a screenshot or what others have set to fix this.  Have had others tell me to adjust the acceleration settings and throttle position, but looking for actual settings that have been used.

Thanks...

If you want it to be exactly like a cable system, then you could just change all the settings in the Throttle Blade Control table to 100% I suppose.  But before you go off half cocked, you might want to do some research on exactly why Harley has that torque limiting feature in the first place.  Think about scissored crankshafts for one thing, and overly touchy response at low speeds for another.  Do a site search for "throttle blade" and you will find some existing threads that talk about the table and the setttings, and some screen shots of the actual table.  Here's a link to one thread where Steve Cole of TTS discusses this issue:

Thanks for the update and I did find the other threads that had screenshots of the settings.

Thanks...Rich
