Dual Disk on 49mm Dyna Mid Glide Front End

Hi,
 Has anyone put a second brake on their Mid Glide Dyna Fron End ? I just bought a Set of Chromed Dual Disk lower legs or sliders P/N 48748-08 for a FXDF FatBob and 08 and later. It is to use a 25mm axle. Why did they change it in 2008 how is it different from 06 and 07 front ends. I am hoping to install this on a Mid Glide front end but will they work on  upper fork tubes from 06/07 ? Does anyone know the stock fork tube lengths? Are aftermarket fork tubes any good? I think the Dyna tubes are 26" and FXDWG are 28" What about the FXDF FatBob lengths? Any insight is appreciated. Due to the timing of this project I hope for some quick and accurate answers that are so abundant from all you very knowledgable and helpful guys. I am no meaning to Suck Up to anyone just thankfull for all the past help on all my projects that keep coming at me.

Does anyone know the OEM part number for 06 -11 FXDC -  laced spoke 19" front wheel . Assy hub/spokes laced to rim. chrome not black rim. I can find custom rims but I want a stock 19" rim with hub for 25mm axle. These will accept a second rotor for dual disk brakes.
