MANY of these are from the 1930s... the Dust Bowl days. And several more are from the 1800s.

So much for the "Global Warming" argument...

May I help you?
Yes, I'd like to have an argument, please.
Why certainly, Sir!

Try on some of our humidity with that triple digit! Wow!!!

Yea, even if it's "just" 95 degrees down here, the humidity is often at 60% or more, which feels like 114 degrees.  When you sweat, there's nowhere for the moisture to go, so you get absolutely no evaporation for a cooling effect.  A person can quickly get into some serious trouble if doing any outdoor work in those conditions, and it's difficult to take in enough fluids.  At 35 years old and 150 lbs, with nothing but lean muscle on my body, it didn't seem to matter, but at 60 and 180, it matters a lot.  Just cutting the grass behind a self propelled mower, and I don't have a huge yard, is enough to make me sweat like a prostitute in church...

I'll drink to THAT! We're riding the Cherohala Parkway tomorrow. Should be a good 25 degrees COOLER up there than down here in HOTlanta!

Life begins just outside your comfort zone and you havent lived until you push a full dress harley on a hot day up a grade because your low mile twincam fell apart, and your convinced it's to bitchen to leave it there.           Ugh pardon me but do you have any beer?

Makes that 109 in Pleasanton TX today seem cool.   Must have been a dry heat.
