Trip to Maggie Valley.

After the SE Bike Show at Harley Davidson of Charlotte on Saturday we took off to Maggie Valley.
It was 104 in Charlotte and in the high 80's in the Valley.
We stayed at Rob and Gabby's place (of course) and ran into some friends on Screamin Eagles.
Sunday, Monday and home today, a quick and fun 650 miles.
There are always roads in the area we haven't ridden, so we tried a few new ones.

After we rode a few (thousand) curves we settled in at the Holiday Motel for the evening.
WOW, another bike like my 11.5.
So we went to find the owner and tell him about the site.
OOPS, to late, already a member.
Small world and he was registered in the 11.5 Registry.
Mr. Mark and his good looking SEUC.

Mark and his buddy Vaughn had rode in from Maine.
Mark is from Kansas and Vaugh is from California.
They went to a family reunion in Maine.

After many years of being closed Ghost Town in Maggie Valley is scheduled to reopen this month.
We will probably do the ZIP lines there when we go back in September.

It was a fun ride and a we had a blast.

Good catch.
0 % chance of rain and the entire parking lot was wet Monday morning.
It was Maggie Valley at it's best.
