Anybody got a strong opinion on motor mounts and swing arm bushings. Are there some that are superior or some that are to be avoided ? What do you recommend ?

I went with Glide Pro (Bushings and Front Mount) on my '05 SEEG.  Got rid of the "shake" from the OEM motor mount and got rid of the wobble at speed.  Pretty easy to install and does what it is supposed to do.  Also, go on their website and watch the part about alignment.  Mine was considerably mis-aligned - much better after re-alignment.

who did you order yours from ?  No dealer close to me. Did you get any break on the price suggested on the website ? Do they have both motor mounts with the kit or do you have to order one separately ?

I've heard from some that if you use the glide-pro you might feel more vibration in the handlebars. What's your experience ? Since the connection is more solid, it kind of makes sense.

I also went with a Glide-Pro stabilizing system and aligned the bike. The difference is night
and day. More solid in turns, no wiggle or shake anywhere. Runs straight down the road now
when before it would pull to the right when I relaxed on the bike.

The shake in the bars was due to the wrong torque spec on the front motor mount. He has that figured
out now and it works fine. Just watch the video and read the directions and you should be
able to install it in 1 to 2 hours.

My bike was as bad as it gets in handling and now it is as good as a 900 pound bike can be.

Does it come with the correct torque number in the instructions ? What number is working for you ?

I ordered direct from Jake at Glide Pro.  I did get a discount (10%?).  You can order just the motor mount or just the bushing kit.  More cost effective to do it all at once.  Vibration is less than with the "new" OEM replacement motor mount.  Torque specs were correct as confirmed through Jake.  He's a great guy and ALWAYS answered the phone (even on a Saturday) to help.  Install was pretty easy - a second person would have made it easier - took about three hours total.
