They let the supply chain run out on the old units perhaps a little prematurely.  There are still some out there in the pipelines, I'm sure, and they'll work just fine on a '12 touring bike.  Especially so the units for two bikes.  The new hardware was slated for delivery a couple months ago I guess, but supply issues developed, thus the current black hole situation.  Be patient or try some of the big vendors for an "old" unit.  It'll be worth it.

I just called Mastertune directly, they said the new version will be available the week of July 23rd.
Be patient, they are almost here. :orange:

I called mastertune today and also fulsac and they both gave me the same answer being the week of the 23rd.  Sounds good but mastertune also told me two weeks ago that they were going to ship last week.  I finally ordered the fulsac x pipe and 2 inch baffles along with the master tuner today and they will ship when the tuner comes in.  I hope pretty soon because I really want to get the system on my bike.  Is it really as easy as everyone says about installing the fulsac system and also installing the tts tuner?

I do not know but I talked to master tuner, Fulsac, and two tts dealers here in Ohio and they all were out and had a bunch on back order.  They all said that they did not know of anyone that had old ones left.

The major change is it will work on the new canbus ecm on the 2011/2012 softail and 2012 Dyna's. There will be a few new tuning tables added also and it will automatically save the stock map in the interface and it will save the last map that was loaded in the ecm. The next update will give you a recording feature that will allow you to record data for hours without the use of the laptop as you do your V-Tune. The new unit will also cost $445.00 however the cables have changed to a printer type cable which is a LOT cheaper than the $78.95 usb cable kit for the older one.
Shipping should be next week......the units are at TTS being tested and installed in the BLUE interface box then tested again....then to the end user from there. After 20 months of developing and waiting for parts it's finally in house right now and so to be in your hands. TTS Power Systems thank those who have waited patiently for the best of the best.

Just picked one up from Reno HD, part #2000000.  Installed a set of Rinehart Xtreme duals and the dealer included the Tuning Kit as part of the project for $425.00.  Hmmm...
