Another Fulsac customer
« on: July 10, 2012, 12:50:25 AM »

After reading everything about the Fulsac baffles on here last Sunday. After talking to them I ordered the 2" baffles. They came in today and I installed them tonight with a Vance and Hines Power Duals X-Pipe I took off of my Ultra I traded in. I'm taking it to the dealer to get it tuned Tuesday after work. I will update this after I pick it up Wednesday with the dyno numbers. I'm very satisfied with the ease of installation and the sound. I'm also real happy about keeping the stock muffler appearance.  :bananarock:

SCTTGR8,

What did you do for mufflers? Did you do the Fulsac baffles?

Thanks

i used RC slip ons (http://www.rccomponents.com/rcxhaust/products/slip-ons.htm) we (indywesthd.com) sell them... I had looked at several different slip ons and liked the look and the sound and so we signed up to be a dealer.

SCCTGR8,

I didn't know RC Components had slip ons. Those are very nice looking and seem to be priced very competitive.

Finally got into the tuner today ...I LOVE the fullsac pipe & TTS tuner...just the pipe with RC Components Slip ons with NO internal motor mods, setting at 103.68 horse and 125.79 torque and plenty of umph while riding 2 up ...or 1 up...pulls hard thru 4th gear :bananarock: :2vrolijk_21:

2012 SESG
I used the fullsac "c" x-pipe along with the andrews cams, cometic gasket, fullac hp cores ( were not listed on website but made to order), and tts tuner. Overall I am happy with the performance.  I  struggled to get past a low rpm dip on torque about 2100 (never actually got it to go completely away) but it really pulls hard from 2300 up.

As for the sound it is okay, I prefer a more deep tone rumble sound.  In the past I have used V&H head pipes and Rinehart mufflers on my other two bikes.

Dyno numbers were okay, 101.45 hp with 111.74 torque with rear tire TDC on rear roller and rear tied down firmly.  As we all know you can manipulate the numbers upward by placing the rear tire slightly ahead of TDC and leaving the rear end fairly loose.

Well my numbers are nothing like what you guys got. All I have done is the Vance and Hines X-pipe and the 2" fullsac baffles. The dealer made one dyno pull and said to leave it alone. The fuel/air ratio was good with out a tune. It made 90.98HP and 102.28 Torque.
