New shield
« on: July 11, 2012, 09:36:38 PM »

Ok I was thinking to my self and wondering what size and where to get new shield for my new 2012 cvo street glide. Then it came to me. Why doesn't someone make an electric shelf that rides on a track like your car windows do. There fore eliminating the need for several different size shields. Now this may be hard to accomplish but I think it's doable. May be not cost effective but then again all the cvo owners have paid pretty good money and I'm sure a grand or two more for this would be worth it. Anyways just a brain fart. Now someone take this idea and make a few million with it. Just remember who you heard about it from. :)

By George, I think you're onto something huge!  All we'd need to do is get rid of the headlight, stereo, and those pesky gauges. Then we would need to tweek the classic batwing fairing - a la Victory Vision - and let the money pour in.

Sorry for the smartassiness.  Just listening to led zeppelin IV, and my juices are flowing.  It's a good idea, but harley would lose too many die-hard traditionalists if they got too progressive.

Lol now that we got that out of our way. Sarcasm asside. Sure some adjustments  would need to be made but it's doable. Now maybe not for you. But I'm sure someone.
