I have noticed that when my bike gets into the tar patches on the roads that the wheel either fills like it sliding or the bike will jerk left or right, this is much more pronounced on my 2012 versus the 2010 that i used to ride. is this a suspension issue or just the way the tires grab the road nowadays.
On another note, after reading many of the post on here i might be thinking about the legend and traxon suspension upgrade, does anyone now of a shop in Eastern Washington (or Western) that does this?
just curious

Anybody can install the Legends, but the Traxxion cartridges need to be done right. My suggestion is to contact Traxxion directly (Dan, Mike, or Max) and find out if they can recommend an authorized installer in your area. Jim (hd-dude) at Metal Dragon can do it, but he's down in the Northern California area. Road trip?
Another option is to pull the forks and ship them to Traxxion, let them install the cartridges, and ship them back...if you go that route, talk to Dan at Traxxion for turnaround time. They will bend over backwards to accomodate CVOHarley members...tell them you belong to this forum.
