JR, you know there is always a good reason why things work out the way they do.
God was keeping you safe.

Now hope someone got a pic of you mowing the yard that you can share with us.
Would be good to see you involved in work around the house. Also how bout a pic
of the finished yard.

Some of us are into making our yards look good too. Hope you have been watering
and fertilizing :2vrolijk_21:

A friend of mine just had the same thing happen to him.  It was the first time he locked the ignition.  I pushed the button underneath and pulled it almost off and put it back on and got it to unlock.  I told him to take it to the dealer and not to lock it again until they checked it out.  He didn't tell me what they found.

So what is causing this?

I saw one do this back in 06 and I do not recall what the issue was.

JR,

Have not had the fork lock or ignition problem but I have had the tank emblem problem and from the posts that I see it must be a common issue. I spoke to the service manager at the dealer and discussed it with him and I put good ol crazy glue between the emblem and stick pad and so far so good.  I've seen some suggestions of moving the tank emblem forward one inch as the fix for this issue.

FYI.

Thanks & God Bless

Fork lock/unlock problem happened to me yesterday. Stopped for a frosty one and low and behold when I went to leave I couldn't get the the forks to unlock. Finally after about 15 minutes of messing with the key and fob was able to unlock it and ride away. From reading the other post the whole assy needs to be replaced. The assy is probably made in China....
