Thank you Lou and Terry for my newest Rooster, it's a beauty and I will display it proudly. Each one makes me smile because I know who gave it to me. Really enjoyed our visit with you guys thanks again.

The next morning we headed to the coast for lunch at one of the Roosters favorite fish restaurants in Newport, OR. It was a nice sunny day and Terry's (Roosters) birthday.

This place had the best fish on the coast and very worthy of a stop if you are in the area.

After saying goodby to the Roosters we headed South along the Oregon coast enjoying all highway 101 had to offer.

...and enjoyed a beutiful sunset at our destination near Brookings, OR.

Yesterday we headed South again to meet up with our daughter in Miranda along the Avenue of the Giants in the redwoods. We spent the night at Ship Ashore resort where I used to go salmon fishing off the coast every year. It was a little foggy and cool which was typical for this part of NorCal but made for a very enjoyable day.

It wasn't long before we were in the Redwoods.
