;D Funny how it only takes one time of not having a set of keys will make a remarkable, and indelible impression on one.  When my husband first got his new CVO, we went out for a ride.  Stopped at a gass station when we were about empty and............. he had no key to open his gas cap cover.  We were some 200 miles from home.  So......... he had to get on the Road King, that had been oh my goodness converted to fit me and ride home to get his key and come back.  When he pulled into the gas parking lot, with his knees higher than his elbows, and a sheepish smile, I never said a word.  He shortly there after got his gas cap cover converted to not need a key, but neither of us has ever left home again with out a key to our respective bikes.   ;D

You want to get another laugh out of that situation guess what? I believe any barrel key will open the gas caps so he rode those miles all for nothing, but don't let him know this. ;) ;D

Another option is to hint to your significant other that your CVO key would look good on necklace instead of sitting in the jewelry box for the rest of its life, who knows you might get surprised like I did last Christmas, now I wear it all the time.

you need to remove the blue protective cover on the key.

Wife and I ride together 99.9% of the time... she has a key to my bike, I have a key to her bike. Of course, if I'm by myself, I'd be wishing I had a key hidden under the seat.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
