CVO 110 KURY TEST CAM
« on: August 06, 2012, 01:04:27 PM »

Mike R sent us a cam to install into a cvo 110.. I do not have the specs on the cam but it works well from what we can see. Bolt in deal no need for head work, high compression pistons etc. Bike had a V&H power dual head pipe on it when it showed up. That is the base line as it was dropped off to us. We install the cam and the crusher mufflers and tuned it. Bike runs great.   ;)   Cam is being called a TC24 from stamp on cam. Mike is in Sturgis at this point but I am sure he will post up the specs when he gets back.
Bike tuned in great,  No cam noise at all, pulls very hard down low and just keeps pulling.

You know, we all know Kury's chrome do-dads are cheesy and poorly made, but I really think their Crusher mufflers and performance items might really work well. Everytime I see a dyno with the Crusher mufflers, they seem to make power, and now this cam looks good too.

I think their performance stuff is an overlooked option people should consider. Nice that their tuner of choice is the TTS as well.

I've been happy with a lot of the speed stuff they have, used it for quite some time now, their throttle bodies are great, the heads the sell look real well,(I haven't used them though) and I've installed the crusher mufflers on a number of bikes, including my own, with great sucess, it seems its just hard to get past all those covers and crap they sell, I'm sure it has really held back the popularity of their speed equipment

They make speed equipment?? Damn, enough about the cheesy dress up parts. Although I do like some of their pegs and mounts for them.

That is a nice torque curve for just a cam and some slip ons.

I'm sure it's the same Dyno.  Looks like the conditions were slightly different, but still...this cam looks like a winner for just a bolt in and everything is right where you ride 98% of the time.

I wonder what the numbers would be with the Fullsac Stage I?

Woops
That is pushing what we know a little too far.
It worked for Steve on that 110 bike he had at his shop with that combination of parts.
Not dissing the cam, the manufacturer of the shop just trying to keep the logic stream cleaned up.
