Hey everyone,

Looking at putting ape hangers on my 2009 SERG and would like to know if anyone has the measurements of what the stock bars are?  I love the look of the apes on the bike.

I'm still really confused as to which bars to get.  Threy are so hard to compare.  All I want is the handgrips pulled about 2 inches straight back.  Everything else is fine.  It's impossible to compare bars!

Can anyone tell me the measurements of the stock bars on the 09' CVO SERG?  I am thinking of going to apes, but don't want to go the wrong direction.

Bars, seats and helmets.  You never know until it's too late.  Just gotta do your homework and hope for the best depending on your riding habits.

What measurements are you after? Still running the stock bars on my 09 so getting what your after should be easy.

Try this website. I have been looking as well. It shows all bikes and stock bar measurements. It shows the RG to have 32" width, 7" center, 11" pullback and 8.5" height.

I don't know if you've looked, and I'm not sure about that web site's measurements, but the '09 SERG has very different bars than my '11 SERGU.  What I'm not sure about is whether the '11 SERGU bars are the same as what is on a stock RGU or stock Custom.  The reason I know they are different is because GH (Good Howie) was trying my bike's bars out for comparison to his '09 in MV last year.  Lots of difference between the two...if I had an '09, I'd definitely have to change the bars out to some with more pullback.

Update..........................The 2011s handlebars are basically the same hieght but more pull back than the 09 SERG. I measured the 11s handle bars on the show room floor. And basically for hieght from the bottom 90 to the top 90 and it's 9 1/2 inches on the 11s bar. And the bars I modified from the same points measure 11 1/2". I have'nt got a chance to take a pic side by side with my bike because it's been at the dealers since last Wed. I thought that I was having issues with the compression relief but it turns out it's a starter problem.
