I just picked up my side cover I had Willie G sign and it turned out beautiful.  I am now searching for that 3M type protective tape the MOCO used to protect the side cover from rubbing on the seat as well as the saddle bag guard. If anyone knows the number please advise. My local dealer is having a hard time finding one.

They are in the parts book, so maybe your dealer can't read!! 

48419-04 Wear pad, Side Cover, right
48420-04 Wear pad, Side Cover, left
66055-09 Wear pad, side cover (same both sides)

I guess they changed that last one (the small one at the back, so it might differ for your year of bike...)

That last part number was 66055-93 back in '06, not sure what might have changed.
