This is my story...

The misses and I live in Macon, GA, its just a pitstop, we plan on moving to NE Alabama or maybe Colorado in the next few years.

Ive been riding for about 38 years, three of those on Harleys.  My misses has been riding for about four years now.

I just tradded my 09 FLHT for a 06 FLHCUSE, pretty much stock except for exhaust and only 5,000 miles, well 6,000 now..  I love it, the pre-09 bike fits me much better.

My misses has an 07 FLHRC, she had a 105th SE Dyna, great bike, but not comfortable on the long haul.

I only plan a few comfort mods for the CVO, I like it just the way it is.

Welcome from East Tennessee.  I agree with the pre 09 comment but the trade off for the new design is a much better frame and motor mounting design (my opinion on that one).  I see you are deciding between NE Alabama and Colorado.  Been to Colorado many times but was raised in NE Alabama around Scottsboro.  Still have family there and in Autaugaville, AL.  Great areas both so good luck on the decision.

This is a great site with a wealth of knowledge on just about anything CVO so have fun and again, welcome :grin3:
