Hayden primary chain tensioner
« on: August 23, 2012, 12:53:21 PM »

Put this in last night.
I have 27k on my bike and I needed the thinner of the 2 shims to get me slightly less than 1/2" gap.
Noticeable improvement.
My primary was starting to get loud, as I don't think the stock tensioner was keeping my chain tight.
It is now quieter and seems to improve the shifting quality.
Overall, really good first impression.

Oh yea they give us a discount too.

Glad you are a happy user. We appreciate the comments. Users, please know that on a newer chain, it is possible to install the M6 without needing any shims to get to the 1/2" spring compression measurement. That is the most important part of the installation. Kathy
