New Old Man

I am new here having been referred by someone over at the Road Glide forum. What I was doing was looking for wheels for my RGU and the suggestion to check ads by riders here was one response that I got.
Like many others here, I do not own a CVO, but my 2011 blue shark nose is slowly and gradually being customized to better suit me. I guess you could call that custom vehicle operations but the customization suits me, not a MoCo employee. I doubt I will ever buy enough after market parts to match the CVO price but I am intrigued by the 2013 CVO Road Glide LED headlights. Once I lose a bulb in the head light will be soon enough for that upgrade. I have split my fairing twice and it is not my activity.
I have been riding since 1967 but just got, my first HD 2 years ago. It was a 2010 Electra Glide Ultra. Last fall I upgraded to the 2011 shark and am loving it so far. I only put 13000 miles on that EGU in about a year so maybe I am not the hard core rider that CVO people are.
