Life begins just outside your comfort zone and you havent lived until you push a full dress harley on a hot day up a grade because your low mile twincam fell apart, and your convinced it's to bitchen to leave it there.           Ugh pardon me but do you have any beer?

Told it was a 1958 Hummer. I want to buy it. It was in a house that I listed for sale for a customer.

Better jump while the opportunity is good.  You would hate not to purchase and down the road realize you really have something there and an old Hummer is a pretty good start.  They don't make old harleys anymore..... :2vrolijk_21:

If you don't want it, please let me know.... :bananarock:

Just "rustore" it..not worth a teardown, paint and all...new mecahnical as needed...you can't get awesome "look" out of a spray booth.

Not sure exactly what they're worth, but I know there weren't a lot of them made....and even few left.  But for comparison's sake, there was a guy in Kansas City recently that had a GORGEOUS '58 that was completely restored.......and he kept lowering the price down from $6000.  Last I checked, it still hadn't sold at $4000....3 months later.

My first bike in 1961 was a '58 Hummer and had a 165 cc motor.  The ones I see restored seem to be priced around $5k to $6k.  Unrestored maybe around $1k.

That's what I was thinking but the owner thinks it's worth a bunch more. I keep working on him.

The owner thinks it's worth a lot more :nixweiss:....show him the page and look at the prices on the restored bikes.
