I just installed these mufflers (4" RC Components Rival Chrome)and these are by far the best sounding mufflers I've had bar none.
Rineharts, Rush, And all my V&H's (Which I like) didn't sound as good as these. Here's a picture of them on my bike with the new CVO rear fender and bags.

Ok, they sound ok.  Probably look good too.  But how do they run ?

I am thinking about picking a set of the RC Components up and noticed you liked them better than Rineharts - can you give me a little comparison on the difference in sound, I was also thinking about the 4" Rinehart Slipons.

Same Day Same Dyno:
Run1   X slip-on     Rinehart, VH, Fullsac, CF, etc
Run2   RC slip-on

RC is also coming out with their own head pipe shortly, to go with their mufflers...should be out by September/October so if you are looking for a complete system from them, you might want to wait to see what is available...according to RC they will have a couple versions of their new head pipe.

Well I think they have a better tone, more like a big block sound. I'll say this. Everyone that has heard these RC mufflers love's them. A friend called last night to find out which ones I have, he's buying some also.
 I'm putting it back on the duno Wed. just to see if it needs a little adj down low so I'll have something I can show one way or the other. And when I say down low I'm talking low, rpm's that is. Just making sure.

Waynard has them on sell for $389 right now with free shipping. Now thats a good deal.

Are you saying $389 for the mufflers or is that a complete set up? A very good friend just opened a shop called Pinup Baggers, he is selling RC Components wheels and exhaust, and has complemented them on their products. RC is close to our area and it would be nice to support someone in the midwest. I am in the middle of installing Jackpot Pro Touring Exhaust for something different. I will report how I like them in a few days. FuelMotto makes an X pipe and it uses the factory cross under pipe and chrome shields. It is much more expensive than the cost you have listed. I would like to have gone with the Reinhart Xtremme, just don't like the pipe in front of the oil dipstick. I have not heard of any comments on that though.
